What file formats are supported?
CSV (.csv), Excel (.xlsx), and legacy Excel (.xls) files are supported. The tool auto-detects your column headers — first name, last name, email, phone, title, department, website, address — and maps them to the corresponding vCard fields. You can adjust mappings manually if the auto-detection doesn't match your headers.
How many staff QR codes can I generate at once?
Up to 500 staff QR codes per batch. Each QR code encodes a full vCard 3.0 with name, phone, email, title, company, website, and address. All generation happens in your browser — there's no server-side queue or processing delay.
Can I add our company logo to all QR codes?
Yes. Upload your logo in the Branding step and it will be centered on every QR code in the batch. The error correction level is automatically raised to High (H) when a logo is present, ensuring every code remains scannable even with the logo overlay.
What scanning experience do recipients get?
When someone scans a staff QR code, their phone recognizes the vCard format and displays an "Add Contact" prompt with every field pre-filled — first name, last name, phone, email, company, job title, website, and address. One tap saves the complete contact. It works on iOS 11+, Android 10+, and most modern phones without any third-party app.
Is our staff data stored on your servers?
No. QRSansar processes everything client-side in your browser. Your CSV or Excel file, staff contact details, and generated QR codes never leave your device. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored on our servers. You can even disconnect from the internet after loading the page and the generator will continue to work.
How are the downloaded files organized?
All QR codes are packaged in a single ZIP file. Each file is named using the pattern firstname-lastname-department.png (or .svg). If two staff members have the same name and department, a numeric suffix is added automatically. Files are clean, lowercase, and ready to use in any print or digital workflow.
