Getting started
Create your first QR code
From an empty box to a scannable code you can print, in about a minute.
Make the code
- Open the generator. You do not need an account for this part.
- Pick a type. URL is the common one; there are also WiFi, vCard, email, phone, SMS, and more.
- Paste your link and the preview updates as you type.
- Choose Download and pick a format.
Pick the right format
- PNG for screens, documents and anything you paste into a slide.
- SVG for print. It stays sharp at any size, which matters on a poster or a package.
- PDF when a printer asks for one.
Before you print a thousand of them
Scan your own code with two different phones, one Android and one iPhone. A code that fails in the wild usually fails because it was printed too small, printed in low contrast, or built from a link that was already broken. Testing catches all three in ten seconds.
Codes made without an account are static: the link is baked into the pattern and cannot be changed afterwards. If there is any chance the destination will change, read Static or dynamic first.
