What pattern tokens are supported?
The generator supports six token types: {n} for sequential numbers (1, 2, 3…), {n:4} for zero-padded numbers (0001, 0002…), {hex} for uppercase hex sequences (1, 2… A, B…), {hex:4} for padded hex (0001, 000A…), {alpha} for spreadsheet-style letter sequences (A, B… Z, AA, AB…), {alpha:3} for padded alpha (AAA, AAB…), and {rand:8} for random alphanumeric strings of a given length. Any text outside of tokens is treated as a literal and included verbatim in every serial.
How many serial QR codes can I generate at once?
Up to 500 QR codes per batch. All generation runs client-side in your browser — no server queue, no upload, no waiting. Generation speed depends on your device; most modern computers can produce 500 codes in under a minute.
Can I add a company logo to every QR code?
Yes. Upload your logo in the Brand & Style step and it will be centered on every QR code in the batch. The error correction level is automatically raised to High (H) when a logo is present, ensuring every code remains scannable even with the logo overlay. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, and SVG.
What does the URL wrapper do?
The URL wrapper lets you embed each serial inside a URL. Enter a template such as https://example.com/asset/{serial} and the tool will substitute {serial} with the generated serial for each QR code. This means when someone scans the QR code, they are taken directly to the product or asset page for that specific serial number — perfect for product authentication, warranty registration, and inventory lookups.

Is my data processed on your servers?
No. Everything runs entirely client-side in your browser using JavaScript. Your pattern, serials, and generated QR codes never leave your device — nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored on QRSansar's servers. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the generator will continue working normally.
How are the downloaded files named?
Each QR code file is named after its serial, sanitized to lowercase with non-alphanumeric characters replaced by hyphens and consecutive hyphens collapsed. For example, the serial ASSET-0001 becomes asset-0001.png. The ZIP archive is named qrsansar-serial-qr-{timestamp}.zip where the timestamp is the Unix time at download.
